Katie Roe
Katie has always had a passion for music which was driven forward when she started to learn clarinet and piano when she was in junior school. From then she went on to perform at venues such as Warwick Arts Centre, Symphony Hall and the Royal Albert Hall. Katie was then awarded a scholarship to study music performance at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. During her time there she became Musical Director of two choirs and has since become the Musical Director of Shirley Community Gospel Choir. As well as her instrumental teaching and conducting, Katie is a member of two wind bands and has toured extensively throughout Europe. Katie is thoroughly enjoying her time with Shirley Community Gospel Choir and very much looks forward to their future endeavours together.
